Availability of Fellowships and Observerships
Number of Fellowships 1	Experience required Specialist registrars in year 4/5 or equivalent - see information on recognition It is recommended that the applicant already have some oculoplastic surgery experience and have already done a minimum of one year as an oculoplastic fellow
Normal duration of Fellowship 12 months	Fellows usually appointed 12 months ahead
Interview required for UK applicants? Yes	Interview required for overseas applicants? Yes
Observers accepted Yes - observers accepted for 4 weeks. Requires application by curriculum vitae and two references to Miss Olver then for review and agreement by the Fellowship and Observers Committee	Observers pay a fee Yes - a small fee
